You know those people in your life that go way too soon? Those in your lives that you simply miss more than life itself? That would be My Angel Girl – Steph! She is actually my brothers daughter, but she is more like me than anything, and today, would have been her 37th birthday!!!! She was born on a Sunday – the 2nd…I was too!!! My first niece, one brother had 2 boys, then Steph…2 more boys born, then another niece…2 more boys born – then my daughter, followed by 2 more boys LOL!!!
Steph passed away suddenly in 2014 – one of the hardest phone calls I have ever gotten in life, she taught me UNCONDITIONAL love – absolutely nothing more- nothing less than UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! We had issues in life, like some family do, but the last few years of her life, we were close, which I am really thankful for!!!
In honor of Steph, I am planning on making a fairy/angel garden…I can’t wait to get it started! I have a list of things I need to do, a sketch going with thoughts on the sketch about the project, and a list of supplies I have and that I need to purchase! This is one of those “projects from the heart” that I want to be perfect, so more planning it will need – to BE PERFECT!!!!
For you – a challenge or two to choose from:
- Do a project with the color PURPLE – her favorite color!!!
- Make some birthday cards to put away in your stash of cards
- Do something nice for someone…Steph loved coffee…and beer….her daughter…her son – so do something nice for someone else this week in honor of My Angel Girl!!! Simply make a card, share the link to this post…and do something small! Grab a candy bar – it doesn’t have to be huge, just spread the love for her!
Right now, our world needs a bit of love and kindness, heal with a loved one if you can – or better yet, heal yourself!!! I am so glad my journey the past few years have been of healing for me…and as much as I miss her – she is truly MY Angel Girl, and I will miss her until I see her again! I love you baby girl, may you fly with the other family angels, until we meet again!
Thanks for stopping by,
