fRAMED Scrapbook pages

So….. the picture is horrible…and I apologize for that up front, I simply can’t get another one! This was a one of a kind project made for my brother David and his new wife Tommie who just got married! I absolutely loved how it turned out, and will be making a few more of these for sure! They make great gifts, just don’t let it stay outside if the sprinklers are going to come on LOL, paper and water don’t mix very well!

For this project, I used the following supplies (I didn’t keep the exact manufacturer name, sorry. Supplies bought at Michael’s craft store):

  • Frame 11 x 14
  • 12 x 12 blue chevron style paper
  • 12 x 12 coordinating blue cardstock – 2 sheets
  • 8.5 x 11 red cardstock
  • Bling – initials and key
  • Die cut hearts – Sizzix die cut machine
  • Title and names – Cricut Explorer Air 2, print function

I started designing everything around the middle of the frame. I had to cover the space where the photo goes since I wasn’t using a large photo on the piece. The 12 x 12 Chevron style paper was perfect to fill the opening of the mat, once that was in place the rest came together fairly easy! The accent color of red, was perfect to match Tommie’s to draw your eye around the piece! I added the photo to the right side, and I knew I wanted the “bling” on the initials at the top right by the photo. The left side, I wanted the title (congratulations) and the names on the bottom, with the key to the middle of the hearts to tie it all together! One of the funner projects I have done, make sure you share one with me!!!
